BACKGROUND Jeneviere claims to have had a simple life growing up. He actually did as his people live in more "primative" ways; they are very in tune with the nature that engulfs their homeland and live off the land as much as possible. He was born the first son of one of Nevrione's Council Members and the responsibility to take over that position was thrust on him without much say. Thankfully, he is very proud of his home and his people so it will be an honor to him to eventually be part of the Council when it's his time. He has a mother and two fathers. While those three are the ones he interacted with most closely growing up, Jeneviere has had a wide array of people to look after him thanks to his parent's polycule. He also a younger sister. She followed in his footsteps to join The Guard - a task force for protecting Nevrione and it's splendors - and he is very close with her. Jeneviere had a healthy, functional family growing up for the most part. He doesn't share his parents' polyamorous lifestyle and they respect that. He's also gay as the day is long but that, in his culture, isn't anything anyone feels any sort of way about. He was always a bit mature for his age and with so many eyes on him, he tended to mask his emotions instead of displaying them openly. He also tends to keep personal information safe-guarded tightly to avoid gossip or rumors spreading about him. Some people, like his fiance, have managed to break the walls that he's built up. It isn't impossible, but it does take a lot of time and effort. PERSONALITY Despite his tall stature and quiet strength, Jeneviere has a kind heart deep down inside. It’s just… really, really deep down in there. On the surface, he appears standoffish at best and rude at worst with little to no time for the plights of others. It’s not that he doesn’t care, it’s just that he usually has a million and one other things going on that he deems as more important. His attention is oftentimes focused on his work as an eventual to-be council member of his homeland with little time for distractions. He is a man of simple pleasures who deeply loves his nature-laden homeland. He is vocal about not liking the sterile environments of the researchers that have invaded Nevrione and seems to do best instead out in the field. Like, a literal field. He would rather stomp someone than show his vulnerabilities. He lashes out with anger when embarrassed or when he has a perceived weakness exposed. Despite his cute little tail and freckles, he tries to hold himself high and proud and a strong figure for his people to look towards. Sometimes, however, he can be caught with flowers braided into his hair or twining his antlers when he is most homesick.
